- 3/13/12 - THE FACE OF FISHING FOR BROWARD COUNTY
FLORIDA
- This is the photo that started it all... Ethan entered his FIRST fishing
tournament when he was 5 years old. He won 1st place for the peacock
bass shown in the photo and made me such a proud parent that day. This
photo is used regularly by Broward County Parks and Recreation and all sorts
of print advertisements. Ethan is now essentially "the face of fishing"
for Broward County! See for yourself

10/8/2011 - SCHOOL SUPPLIES
DRIVE 2011
- Our first annual school supplies drive was a success!
We asked those attending our Kids Fishing Club event at Vista View Park in
Davie Florida to bring school supplies. We collected over $300 worth supplies
to benefit The Broward Education Foundation. The donated items will greatly
benefit the students and teachers of Broward County Public Schools. Thank you
to everyone that participated and helping to make a difference in our
community. The Broward Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. You may

- 5/1//2011 - ETHAN WINS THE
KOHL'S CARES AWARD
- Congratulations to our spokesman Ethan Rogge for
winning the Kohl's Cares Award. Nominated for his help with The Kids
Fishing Club, Ethan was selected as the winner of our local market and
received a $50 gift card to Kohl's. National winners receive $10,000
towards college.

- ETHAN WINS THE BARNUM AWARD
- Congratulations
to our spokesman Ethan Rogge for winning The Barnum Award.
Nominated for creating The Kids Fishing Club, Ethan received a gold medal plus
a check for $1000 to fund the club. Nearly 100 members of our club
attended this event. Thanks to the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey
Circus we were able to invite 60 kids and parents for free. The Barnum Award celebrates children
6-12 who are making
a difference in their communities. In honor of circus founder P.T.
Barnum and his inspirational contributions to society, Ringling Bros. and Barnum
& Bailey will provide more than $150,000 in grants to children nationally, in
conjunction with the two-year celebration of the 200th anniversary of Barnum's
birth. Three local award recipients will be recognized at an award ceremony
prior to the start of the opening night performance of Ringling Bros. and Barnum
& Bailey Presents Barnum's FUNundrum! on January 7, 2011, at Miami's American
Airlines Arena. The Gold Barnum Award recipient will receive a $1,000 grant, the
Silver Barnum Award recipient will receive a $750 grant, and the Bronze Barnum
Award recipient will receive a $500 grant to fund future community service
endeavors.
