CLUB RULES

Our club will strongly emphasize education and conservation.  We will teach responsible and ethical angling practices, safety, and many other important topics. In order to participate in the Kids Fishing Club you must sign a registration and agree to the following rules:

A parent, guardian, or authorized adult chaperone must be present for the entire event.
Parents must be responsible for their own children.  This includes keeping them safe, but also helping them catch fish.
Parents and children must help one another.  This includes baiting hooks, and unhooking fish.
Remember to keep a safe distance from one another and to look behind you before you cast.
Never leave a small child alone near the water.
Always keep your eyes open for alligators and snakes.

Kids Fishing Club events are catch and release only.
Fish must be handled properly and returned to the water without harm.
All trash must be collected.  This includes broken fishing lures, fishing line, and litter that not even be yours.

Parents are allowed to fish as long as you are being attentive to your child
Participants will be requested to leave an event if they are fighting, fishing recklessly, or do not obey the rules.
Rules are subject to change.
